It is especially beneficial when lower doses are insufficient or when infections are chronic and difficult to treat.

Terbinafine 500mg is indicated for:

• Onychomycosis (fungal infection of fingernails/toenails)

• Tinea corporis (ringworm)

• Tinea cruris (jock itch)

• Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)

• Tinea capitis (scalp ringworm)

• Persistent, chronic, or recurrent fungal infections

• Dermatophyte infections unresponsive to lower doses

• Typical adult dose: One tablet (500mg) once daily, or as prescribed by the physician.

• Treatment duration:

  • Skin infections: 2–6 weeks

  • Nail infections: 6–12 weeks or longer, depending on severity

• Can be taken with or without food.
