Prochlorperazine Maleate 5mg Tablets are used to manage nausea, vomiting, vertigo, and certain psychiatric disorders. It belongs to the phenothiazine class of medications and works by blocking dopamine receptors in the brain, helping control nausea and psychotic symptoms.

Indications:

• Nausea and vomiting of various causes

• Vertigo and dizziness associated with inner ear disorders

• Management of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders as prescribed

• Prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: 5–10mg, 3–4 times daily, or as directed by a physician

• Tablets should be taken with water, preferably after meals
